Our new website will be up and running very soon.

We'll have fireworks when we can start bringing you the latest geek news from around the world.

So, stay tuned...

Michael Jackson is selling off his treasured possessions, but unlike the rest of us, Ebay's too mundane for the Prince of Pop. Instead, the plastic popstrel is having a lavish auction, presumably to make it easier to part ways with his (not at all tacky) stuff and to recoup a few much needed quid. And the publicity never hurts, either.

Click on the picture to see just 29 of his possessions up for auction. Can you spot the not at all scary cartoon theme going on here?

Altogether now: It's auction time, CHAMONE!

It looks like the developers of Facebook are getting a little too big for their internet-dominating boots, for they've change the terms of service to now include any work you ever publish on the site.

This basically means, don't post anything you're not comfortable with being in the public domain, as, once you've posted it, it's Facebook's forever, even if you delete it.

Pretty sneaky stuff, which could mean ruin for the next J K Rowling.

You can read the full story (and read Facebook's response) by clicking here.

As an extra note, you should always be hugely careful not to put too much detail on internet-facing websites. This is the age of internet piracy and identity theft and you can bet someone you know has had their details compromised at some point. So, avoid giving away you full name, address, date of birth, and other pertinent details.

You know it makes sense!
